"Came for a business meeting and needed no frills, so picked the cheapest place I could find. When they handed me a brass key and not a magnetic card, I was a bit worried. Don't let the older style of this building fool you. This had the feel of a 1970s motel but was really clean and comfortable. The room had the 'Northern Woods' decor seen in a lot of places in Hayward, so it was cozy and woodsy. Pretty view of the river and super close to everything. Pleasantly surprised."

"We loved this property! Very clean with great amenities. Loved that each couple (3) could have their own bathroom and there was space for us to park our UTV trailers. Brandon was very quick to respond to messages. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! We hope to go back some day!"

"Not bad, but the pool area has sitting water in walking area. Look like floor sunk over the years by Hot Tub. Lights are so dim in room and pool area, ready feels gloomy! Just feel it needs a good going over."

"Bed was comfortable. Fist-sized hole through bathroom door (I was made aware of this before accepting the room). I crashed through the desk chair the first time I sat down on it (it was replaced with a nice chair in an expedient manner). The main light above the vanity did not work at all. The room and bathroom were very clean. My interaction with various staff members was very pleasant."

"The hotel was newly remodeled. Very clean and nicely updated. Spacious room & comfy beds. Good hot breakfast as one would expect. It was the weekend after Christmas, so not busy. We would stay again, as we have family in the area."
