"The staff at the pub were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The room was as advertised, spacious with a comfy bed, Freeview TV, and ensuite which was a little snug but perfectly usable. The room got a little cold and I couldn't find a way to fully close the bathroom window but that didn't matter too much once I was under the duvet. I was warned that I was staying above a pub on a weekend even so, the noise never got too loud or disruptive, if anything it made my solo stay feel a little...

"It was one night stay on a trip to Bath, nice little place with amazing, unusual look, just basic but enough for one night. There is pub and restaurant, not available for breakfasts. We didn't eat, but had a little cider in the pub which looks fantastic! Even with the pub in the building next to the rooms, it was very quite place, so don't stress about the noises. "Nice room, but although spacious, there was no chairs, only one stool, and no light over the dressing table mirror. Room was on 2nd floor up a narrow staircase which was awkward. Price was more expensive than expected with no breakfast included. I thought £185 for room only was too much. We went next door to Weatherspoons for breakfast instead."

"Lovely place to stay - comfortable, clean rooms and everything we needed. The little booklet in the room with places to get breakfast, local walks and local taxi numbers was also a nice touch. A reallly pleasant place."

"Great little location, quirky room with two bedrooms, and low beams, creaky floors and higgledypiggeldy layout all of which was a joy! Much better than the generic box rooms you get given at chain hotels. It was all well equiped and well functioning. Double bed not the comfiest I’ve slept on - a relatively thin mattress. All the same, it was warm, cosy, and perfect for what I needed this weekend. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Full English breakfast was sensational. Thank you. "
