"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "What an elegant, well presented and comfortable house in which to stay! Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. "Absolutely lovely place! Stayed here last minute due to change in plans. Hosts were so attentive! In my 30s, this isn’t a place I’d normally stay if I’m honest, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back! "Had a really lovely and welcoming stay at the tilman hotel,staff lovely, especially ella who was really friendly and helpful with anything we needed,and dan the manager who was great too with his knowledge of the area and also couldn't do enough for us,brillient service all round,fab room,gorgeous food,brill facilities and lovely location,will defo return and reccomend"

"The hotel was lovely! It was so well done with stunning rooms, bar and restaurant. All staff were super helpful and friendly. Particularly the lady who served us as breakfast, she was so kind and great to chat to. Great location with beautiful views and easy access to walks in the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend!"

"We booked through hotels.com, but we booked a triple room, as it was cheapest option for a couple and a 20 year old daughter. On check in, there was not a triple room, rather than cancel us, they gave us 2 twins, much to the delight of all of us. Very friendly. Thank you"

Great location

"I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."

"Pretty straight forward needed a night to stay since I was working on the weekend and the room was reasonably priced, staff is friendly, room was cleaned enough and it was comfortable enough that’s all I need so it’s worth going if you don’t fancy forking over a fortune to over places, got a pub downstairs and breakfast in the morning but couldn’t attend to those things as I drive and wake up earlier hours but overall judging the place it seemed pretty decent and I can’t complain."
