"Extremely comfortable home with a great sense of history. I booked for four days to take my four adult children and my teenage grandson away to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. We now have some very happy memories of our stay in Ludlow."

"We have just returned from a week away at Pigeon House. I can't fault the property - or the owners! Elaine and Adam were always quick to respond to queries and were on hand but kept a respectful distance. Pigeon House was spotlessly clean when we arrived and Elaine gave us a guided tour and showed us how everything worked. It was very well-equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely and the en-suites perfect - good showers, plenty of room (and toilet rolls!) more than enough towels and hand/body wash...

The cottage was perfect for us, we loved the countryside and the peaceful luxuries in the cottage. "Great house, location and very helpful housekeeper"

"We stayed there for 2 nights with 3 kids. The house was really nice and clean in a picturesque village. A small grocery shop a few meters away as well as a pub. We had a problem when we arrived as we didn't get the passcode from the online company but the owner was in touch and sorted out everything within a couple of minutes. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!!!"

"We were very impressed with everything about our holiday. The accommodation was spacious, well presented and very comfortable and the hosts were always helpful but unobtrusive. We loved the area and hope to return soon. A great location for walking and cycling and so many places to visit in the area. "

"Arrived, had been given full parking details,this was easy, also key code and this too was easy ,thus an excellent start .Upon entering we immediately felt at home, the house was warm and clean, upon exploring we found a basket of treats, essentials and milk in the fridge all ready for a rest after travelling. The beds made up and we felt really ready to relax. Situated in the centre of Ludlow, within walking distance of all town attractions and restaurants/pubs. Car parked up on Friday,not...

"Our host Russell was very helpful & easy to approach. The property is in a beautiful village of Astley Abbotts with beautiful views in a quiet location. We will certainly visit this wonderful property again to explore surrounding area which is outstanding."

A little slice of Heaven

"Wonderful! Such a friendly welcome on arrival. Food was a delicious selection and although there’s no cocktail list they readily made whatever we wanted. It’s an idyllic & quintessential place with the original features preserved & a modern touch. The night we stayed was so cold so the log fires in the bar/eating area was lovely and the bedroom was perfect. Everything was so comfy we could’ve happily stayed a lot longer! "
