"Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. A fantastic hotel and fantastic staff, we really enjoyed our visit."

"Pleasant staff, nice room and excellent breakfast. The area is very quiet and the hotel has ample parking - very useful in a mediaeval town like Ludlow. It's only a few minutes walk into the town centre with its characterful pubs and historic building."

"A very cold and tired solo traveller welcomed a warm, clean and comfortable room with a large hot shower. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful in a very pleasant room. All in a a very nice stay. "

"Only a bed for the night but very pleasant old pub with friendly helpful service and cosy room, sadly had to leave before breakfast so can’t comment on food but I would book again for a longer stay in future as it’s a beautiful part of the country to explore"
