"This is an excellent vacation property. The hosts are exceptionally responsive and provided everything to make our stay enjoyable. The check in/out process is super easy. "The cabin was fantastic. The owner had the heat on at time of arrival. The entire experience was wonderful. Camp fire while deer were eating only a few yards away. We felt cozy nestled in the hills. "We love this cabin! Clean, has all you need inside and out, peaceful, the hosts are fantastic. In my rush before leaving, I forgot to write down cabin code. We drove a couple miles to get service, called them and they provided the cabin number. For some reason I wasn’t on website but they were so nice about me calling. We really enjoyed ourselves and recommend this cabin. Thank you!! "

"We loved the peace and quiet. My husband's favorite thing was the wood burner which the guys took turns tending over the weekend. The warm light never went out on the front right burner on the stove, but it was cold to the touch when the other lights went out."

"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

"We had 14 people there with all ages and fit very comfortably. It was beautiful to look out to the snow covered lake. Hostess was great to respond to our needs and easy to work with. The driveway goes down a little hill which was hard to get up with the snow but we understood the guy who does the snow plowing was on Christmas vacation so should be fine in the future. We enjoyed our stay there. Shopping and bowling in Du Bois. "
