"This is a classic motel recently redone with a "Room and Board" vibe. It was clean and comfortable and once everyone settled into their rooms quiet (I slept through the night). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. My only suggestion is more lighting on the far end of the room, but it seems limited by the number of outlets."

"We had the best time in the deep woods! Staff & family were very friendly! They answered all our qustions promptly and if we didn't have it, they did! I loved gathering with our family & friends like it was our own in the lodge. The fireplace was roasting all weekend from morning coffee, afternoon marshmallows, to evening hot chocolate. "This was the perfect spot for our annual cousins gathering...every thing we needed was there. The home was comfortable, cozy and the sauna and jacuzzi tube were perfect after long days on the snowmobile trails in sub-zero weather. We had fun as a group and although we like to move around every year to experience different places, we are definitely considering coming back to explore more of the Iron Range. Trails were great, and the people we met along the way were very friendly and welcoming! "
