"We loved the location and the large grassy area was a 5 star for our dog. The house is a perfect layout for a vacation rental. Since there were only 2 of us, we didn’t use the upstairs. The bed was very comfy and the living area was a good layout with comfy furniture. We feel that there were things that a good maintenance review and cleaning company could help overall. "Very nice cozy cabin in a great location for my wife and I. The host Jason was amazing and had excellent communication and went above and beyond for us. During our first nights stay half the U.P. lost power and the host drove 3.5hrs to bring us a generator. He got us back up and running by the time we got off the trail from snowmobiling. To top it off he even helped load our snowmobiles when we were leaving to head home. Can’t say enough good things about him or the cabin!"

"This place was ideal for our snowmobile trip. Very roomy for parking 2 four place trailers and plenty of extra room for turning around and parking the sleds. The house was also roomy with a decent size entrance way to get suited up. hot water heater was big enough to keep up with both showers going , and the furnace kept us warm when the temperature dropped to -10f . Kitchen was up to date on appliances and everything worked great. Huge TV was nice and the WIFI worked great. My only complaint...

"I always look forward to coming back to this home on the St Marys River. Perfect location just fifteen minutes from the Soo Locks. Very comfortable with lots of space. Very nice deck with lots of comfortable chairs for freighter watching. The owner is always making improvements. It’s a pleasure to visit."

" This house was super clean ans a perfect stay for our group of 6 adults. Close to snowmobile trails for us to easily access and gas station/bars only about a mile away. We had a minor run in with the kitchen sink not working but the host had someone out right away to fix the issue. We would definitely stay here again. :)"

"There's not much to do on sugar island other than enjoy time with each other. Cook a bunch of food and enjoy the peace and quiet. Have a campfire and if that makes you happy. This is the perfect stay. We love it at the sugar suite."

"This was our second year (visit) and it didn't disappoint. The home is very well equipped from dishes to cooking supplies to firewood to games! I can understand if someone visited and didn't leave....the home is soooo comfortable. Brigid is an over the top excellent host and communicated if we needed anything. If our travels put us in this area next year we will definitely book another stay."
