"I stayed at the Red Lion due to its proximity (by car) to the Royal Dockyard. My room was warm, comfortable bed and decent bathroom. The Red Lion is near some excellent local eats and easy to find. Parking was no issue (I just left my rego at reception), the staff likewise were wonderful."

"Great location. Lovely wheelchair accessible room. Only one small hanging area with a tiny shelf for clothes. Could have used a small drawer unit for clothes as plenty of room. Otherwise lots of room to turn and move about. Staff really friendly and helpful. We will be coming back here at some point in the future. "

"Pro: Good communication, Fast check in and out, room a good size for families, having a small kitchen saved us a lot of time and money. Cool decor. Good heating and cooling. Parking was right by the front door. Very quiet. Lovely high ceilings, good blackout curtains. Good size TV. Comfy feather pillows. Cons: Very hard beds, no oven, not a lot in the kitchen to make meals, not enough bowls and mugs ect. Quite narrow and few car parking spaces. No food served in the evenings. Steps to the loft bed are very steep and not safe for children to use unsupervised "
