"The property is pleasant and was the perfect size for us as a couple. I feel that it is a bit misleading in the listing as you do not realize the unit is truly squeezed in between full time residential apartments.. However the location across the street from the beach and the vicinity to Rt. 9 cant be beat for sightseeing in the area. "Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. "This is a superb quiet location with lots of options for exploring the area. We were minutes from Mt. Philo State Park which offers a wonderful viewpoint for the setting sun over Lake Champlain. We could see Mt. Philo from our room. We visited local wineries and brew pubs. We also took a ferry across the lake to Essex NY and we climbed to the top of Camel’s Hump. The best was enjoying an evening in the garden near the fire pit and a bottle of local wine. "

"Lovely property; lots of room for dogs to run if you want them off leash. House had minimal but adequate kitchen and bath accommodations. No shower which I wish I'd known beforehand. Soaking tub was delightful but not easy to wash hair. Kyle was onsight to help as needed. The view is unparalleled!"

"The location was excellent, and the communication was excellent, but it lacked in kitchenware (no toaster, microwave, only one pot etc.). We let the owner know and hopefully this will be taken care of. It was also not very clean. Again, we let the owner know and they are addressing it. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The place was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller looking for a private getaway on a lake. Cozy but just the right size for a single traveller or a couple. Directions to the lakefront could have been a little clearer -- I went to the wrong dock initially! But that's more my fault than the host's. Loved hearing the loons at night and being able to chill on the front porch. I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you!"
