"We were dropping our daughter at University… this place to come and just relax after days of activity was so important. Extremely comfortable! "I had not realized on booking that the second bedroom was in the loft and accessible by a wooden loft ladder. Both my sister and I are retired and neither of us could get the ladder down. We decided not to contact Helen as we wouldn't have been able to go up and down the ladder anyway. It is very steep and doesn't have any handrailsThe property itself is an old style cottage with a good size kitchen which had some groceries to start us off.
