"The area is nice and parking is great. The sound protection inside is awful, though. Can hear clearly through the walls, traffic outside, etc. Our door was finicky, one of the door handles inside was installed upside down, the mattress felt worn in and squeaky, and other little things that felt like cheap corners. Overall, it serves its purpose and was a great location for us. All staff were incredibly kind and warm. "

"The studio suite was very clean, uncluttered, and aesthetically attractive. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of water through the trees. Apparently there was even a wind storm while we were there but we heard nothing. The only thing we missed were walking trails. Walking was on the road and parks were a car ride away."

"Three college friends from the 70s got away to Vancouver island and REALLY enjoyed our stay. The lovely home, built built by the family who were so friendly, was nestled in a beautiful woody area. It had an awesome hot tub, super comfy beds, nice living area to visit and have our appetizers. It was especially wonderful to be away from the hustle and bustle of city-life and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. Seeing the fog roll across the mountains in the morning was delightful."

"The wise place is a great place to stay great walking/running trails near by Shawnigan Lake grocery and great restaurants are all in walking distance. Inside the home was well layout and stocked with the basics. Our daughter was able to join us for a couple days and slept on the pull out couch and was amazed at how comfortable it was (the best she has had) master bed was very comfortable. "I really enjoyed my stay at Cowichan Bay in Danielle's guest house. The suite was quiet, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is a private sitting area with a partial view of the marina. I enjoyed hearing the sealions on the doc in the morning. The town is lovely with an excellent coffee house and bakery steps away. And a handful of options for lunch and dinner. I'd stay here again for a weekend getaway."

"The property was vlean and check in was easy. The only issue we had was it was not clearly stated that the "Bedroom" did not have a seperate door. We booked hoping for a private room for 2 of us and the living room for the 3rd person to sleep. Unfortunately there was no door to the bedroom and the apartment was open concept. We wnjoyed our stay regardless but it was not clear on the listing."
