"This is our 3rd stay. The rooms have been upgraded and we had a nice view. We are always made to feel welcome by the wonderful friendly people on reception. We arrived early but were able to leave our bags in reception. Parking is payable and you need to arrive early. However, we know the area well and thete is free on-steet parking nearby if you know where to look."

"Really lovely stay here. Staff were friendly, helpful and worked together well as a team which shone through. We stayed in a cottage room in the garden which was well appointed, clean, spacious and had an outdoor verandah area for sitting. It was peaceful and well maintained. Other parts of the grounds were not so well kept but as a whole it was fine. A little off the beaten track but the food was excellent and generous so no need to go elsewhere. "

"A bit more cleanless it will be great, specially in the room carpets. The stay was nice and the property plenty of character. The spa area is old but in good condition. Nice breakfast and gardens. Very friendly staff. "
