"If you are staying in this hotel you must have dinner there, it was fantastic, husband had steak and I had pork, we are still talking about it now.... please note if your English they do not provide tea and coffee in the room but were kind enough to let us have a kettle... "Very poor service, uncomfortable room, AC will not work if not summer even in warm and hot days, Mosquitos will not let you sleep. We stayed there for 3 nights, on the first night they gave us room 35, in this room the ceiling was low, my wife and I got many hit on the head as we tried to raise our head from the bed, you can hardly stand in the sower and be careful when standing near the sink and the toilet. Stay away and choose another hotel."

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Ich verbrachte 3 Tage mit meiner Mutter im Gasthaus zur Sonne. Mit dem gratis erhaltenen S-Bahn Ticket konnten wir Freiburg in 20 Minuten erreichen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Highlights: geräumiges Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet. Negativ: laut knarrende Badezimmertür. Wenn jemand lärmempfindlich ist würde ich raten woanders Abend zu essen aber das Essen selbst war ausgezeichnet. "
