"A beautiful view from the balcony. Our teen kids and aunt loved this location. It was perfect for a quiet get away. The only negative was slow internet but it was good to get kids off their devices. We hope to rerun again. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with this mix of original and modern updated cabin! It is well maintained, fully stocked with extra added touches and nicely decorated rooms. It has that “home way from home” feel and very cozy. Nestled between my sons wedding location and reception it was the perfect location. Our hosts were awesome too, very prompt in getting back to me or answering emails! We definitely recommend The Fox Den! "

"Property was well kept, quiet, and the cabin was spotless. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. Grills, propane and charcoal were in excellent shape and most usable. Hot tub was a delight. Only issue is the cabin is a distance from the town; however, I had I had no need to go there. Given that, the town was quaint and many nice eateries."

"This is a cute, cozy cottage with a wonderful fireplace and lots of woods in back. The wifi was great, and it was great that they allow dogs. The kitchen is pretty basic but fine, the bedroom and bathroom are fine and the main living room is rustic and comfy. The only reason it wasn't completely wonderful is that even with all the electric heaters going it was still a bit cold and drafty. The cottage isn't energy efficient. "Kalvin did a good job explaining my many questions related to our archery trip. Not many deer in the area but the property is very relaxing, no neighbors in site and plenty of property to have fun. Enjoyed the campfires every night at the new firepit. Plenty of room to spread out. "

"Perfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time. "

"This was a perfect house for a rustic get together with friends, and just a few minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs. Set on a wooded lot, the house was immaculate with lots of room and things to do. Including a game room, 3 tvs and plenty of room to gather together or find a quiet place to relax. "Thanks for removing air freshener! The good and the bad are the distance from town. Some of the quietest nights I’ve had in years. It rained most of the time so we played games. Never turned the tv on. Comfortable."

"A beautiful historic property with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Setting was clean. Really enjoyed our stay for our girls trip."

"This cabin was perfect for our Fourth of July weekend. There’s a big pool, horseback riding, a big pond and creek for fishing and the cabin comes with a fire pit and grill. We brought our dog and cooked over the fire every night. The cabins and grounds are very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this place!"

"We stayed for my 50th birthday. It was the beginning of March and weather was decent but this place offered things to do in the cold or warmth. We enjoyed the fire pit outback and used the grill for dinner one night. The creek running behind us had the kids entertained too!"
