"For a hostel, this place was very good. However, comparing it with other places we stayed on our trip, mostly Airbnb's, this place was expensive for what we got. No private bath, no breakfast included. Maybe the location on Skye made it more expensive. Still, it met our needs, and for a hostel, it was in great shape."

"This was one our favorite hotels to stay at during our 10-day trip to Scotland! We loved the location, perfectly located to see all of what Isle of Skye has to offer. The hotel has lots of character and amazing views from the room. The room was very spacious, comfortable and updated. Also, the staff was fantastic!! Super friendly and helpful!!! The only disappointment was the hotel amenities indicated laundry, but apparently only available for emergencies. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at the Sligachan hotel!"
