"An excellent hotel overall that has a good restaurant, good spa facilities, comfortable rooms, regular shuttle bus and is conveniently situated for the town and local bus. The hotel is let down by some minor issues: small boot/ski room, poor cooked breakfast options, limited hot water and spa areas dominated by children at all times. "

"Great location. Easy walking. The bathroom glass should be fully frosted so you don't see your buddies on the pooper. Restaurant has amazing pizza and staff. Cleaning people great job. Storage lockers for the hotel is at the base of the slope. All around a great experience "

"We love the hotel, it was a Family trip first time in Switzerland, did ski 3 days and we took the bus and the train super easy. We also rented the ski gear close by like 10 minutes from the hotel. We had a blast. "

I have a rather nice bed at home, but this new bed in the ski lodge was the best bed I have ever slept on! Just glorious night of sleep… and the resultant manger was spot on… his staff was flawless and kind, the food was flavorful and delightful."

"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. Staff was nice and some speak excellent English which is nice for those of us who didn't have a chance to learn German. Lots of parking available in the lot next to the train station for 6 francs per day. Temporary parking in front of the hotel next to the park but be fast or you might get a ticket. "
