"Check in process was seamless and easy. The owner communicated all the info ahead of time, AND was available and responsive to all our silly questions we had regarding using the thermostat and such. Very easy and friendly communication. The house and property all around is very clean, literally no dust or any grime whatsoever. At the same time, there was no cleaning product smell, which was a huge relief for us. Lots of toilet paper, paper towels, napkins etc. Thank you that I did not have to...

"Fabulous doesn't even begin to describe how wonderful our time was at Blue Crab Cottage...the cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of 5, as well as our dog Princess. The views were spectacular...the host was so friendly and helpful...the kids loved chatting with Mr Chris and meeting his dogs, who were the sweetest welcoming committee. We had a great stay, and we hope to come back for another stay during our next trip to MD. "

"The property and the cottage are just beautiful [very quiet] and incredibly well appointed. The bed is super cozy. There is no kitchen but the coffee station was great to have. Note that the cottage shares the property with the main house. My husband and I enjoyed sitting by the river multiple times during our stay and we really appreciated our hosts’ hospitality and communication. Thank you for the beautiful respite!"

"My daughter's family and myself went to DC for my mother's burial at Arlington. It was a quick trip and we're from the area,though no one lives there now, so we needed a place to stay. This was a convenient location close to places to eat, the Metro, and major roadways. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. I'd definitely recommend. The only negative was the lot parking spot was a little tricky but the on street parking is a good alternative. There were a couple spots the paint needs to be...

"The staff is very friendly and always makes me feel at home. The suites are spacious and attractive as well as functional with full kitchens. The gym is big enough, and kept at a cool temperature, which is much better than most hotel gyms. But this spring stay was disappointing. They had switched their HVAC system to Cooling, and it couldn't heat, even though it was quite chilly. I wasn't warned before booking, and not even when I registered at the desk. I get to a cold room a on a cold night...
