"This property is very clean and well kept. Cozy, like home and all the little conveniences of home. The battery operated candles were a nice touch and all the extra supplies were nice too! 10 out of 10 for us! This might become a tradition to us, we liked it that much!"

"This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!"

"No better place to go to unwind and get away from the madness of daily life. I live just staring out in the woods and always so cozy in the house! "

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"No real complaints here! Our host went above and beyond to make things right for us and the cabin was a great way to stay somewhere nice and secluded for a couple nights. Geneva and Watkins Glen were both cool places to visit, the wine was great, and we had some killer food at a couple different local restaurants as well."

"My girlfriend and I had a great glamping experience hosted by Dave and his wife. Not only was Dave incredibly attentive during our stay but also gave us recommendations on where to explore around the town and hikes near by. The cabin was equipped with cooking material and wood for the fire (which we really enioyed). For anyone looking for sometime to disconnect and enjoy with a loved one - We recommend this cabin for you!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love...

"My wife and I stayed at this location for our anniversary weekend getaway and it was amazing. Gary and Dawn do a great job with their properties as we have previously stayed at the Fox in the Hen house, which is great as well. The Green green grass of home was amazing. Very private. Very warm and cozy. Staying in the wintertime the road is seasonal as listed which was not an issue as we have a 4 wheel drive SUV but plan accordingly if you do not. "It was clean, tidy, & well stocked with just about anything you could need. They even included some extra personal touches of wine & flowers for our celebration. Host was friendly, & communcation was prompt.They are located across the st. & the pond in the listing is actually on their home property, but we'd recommend this place regardless. Just book it!"

"This was a great location for our weekend away in the Finger Lakes. The listing was accurate and as other reviewers noted, the property is a little older with some appliances being fairly dated. There was plenty of cookware and supplies needed to make a few meals during our stay. Check-in was smooth and host was responsive!"

"Our stay was fantastic! We really enjoyed being being ALONE and the xabin was clean and warm and had a lotbof things tobdo for us; games, hot tub, nice little hike. It was definitley what we were looking for. "
