"We had a wonderful stay! It was snowing and we had a long drive so we let them know check-in might be late. They said no problem and offered to have the kitchen prepare some dinner in advance as it would likely be closed when we arrived. We exchanged WhatsApp messages and dinner was reserved and ready for us when we arrived. Vlad greeted us and was an incredible host during our stay. He was friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. I would stay here again and highly recommend it."

"We stayed in the Suite, which had a big bedroom for us and a smaller one for the kids. The architecture and decorations resemble Transylvanian roots with a modern touch. We loved the pressed artwork and wished we could buy one to take home :). The pillows, bedsheets and towels were high quality. And the shower head had all sorts of "massaging modes" that were amazing after a hike. Same attention to detail is showcased throughout the property. "The staff was very friendly and polite. They made me feel welcome, not like I was a stranger ! The location of the hotel is a pretty area, something out of a postcard. Had a wonderful time !!"

"The owners went out of their way to provide any service they can to make the stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond by doing some laundry then refused any payment. I was extremely grateful because we were running out of clean clothes. The rooms were amazing. The restaurant provided one of the finest meals we had during our trip. The property was tranquil and relaxing."

"It was ok for the price we paid. There was some complications trying to contact the host to arrange check in but we got in ok on arrival . Room was ok, quite basic , no facilities to make a hot drink. There was not much loo roll provided for 2 nights Relying on public transport, it was a fair walk to town on rough path right by main road "

"We stayed at Muntele Rece for two nights an we fully enjoyed our stay. The location is great, slightly away from Bran town centre yet within walking distance of Bran Castle, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing and the views are breathtaking. On top of that our host Andreea was very friendly and helpful showing a great level of hospitality. We hope to return soon!"

Highly recommend.

"I actually arrived a day before I had booked my reservation and Eszter was kind and helpful and got me in a day early! There was a private balcony that overlooks the Black Cathedral that I had all to myself and enjoyed a cup of hot tea complimentary included with the room. Very good location and multiple breakfast options from two easy to get to locations. I ate at the restaurant directly below my room which has vegetarian options too. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to a solo traveler or anyone looking for an authentic hotel in a perfect location, safe, friendly and clean. "
