"Lively Georgian pub, excellent dining and nothing too much trouble for a friendly and helpful staff. Despite lively bar the bedroom was quiet if a little warm even with heating off. I am partially sighted and the lighting throughout was far too "subdued" - the only fault."

"Nice clean comfortable room but no tea spoons so a bit of a challenge to make a cup of tea! We arrived at 8.30pm and they had stopped food. However, they rustled us up a plate of chips :) "

"The hotel was in a good position for Ripon’s attractions ie the cathedral and the old town with its cafes and eating facilities. The rooms were fresh looking and away from the pub in a separate stable block and were self contained but as the property had just been taken over and the pub itself was being refurbished I can’t comment on the food etc ."

"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"Fantastic place to stay But with some issues in my mind Room was very clean and comfortable with some very modern touches Then spoiled by plastic cups only two small biscuits very small tv then having to pay for breakfast I would expect a room at £178 would include breakfast Staff were very nice Parking handy for rooms"
