"Great location very near the station, not far from the town centre and close to the football ground. Big hotel, welcoming friendly staff. Nice room. Spacious and clean. Very nice bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable, not great but above average, not too bad. Amazing continental breakfast. Overall, decent value."

"This inn is basic and without pretense. It is clean and well maintained. There is a pub across the parking lot called The Mermaid which share employees with the inn. The people here are fanastic, always genuinely smiling and friendly."

"The studio rooms were fabulous our party had 3 of these rooms. Large beds, settee and casual chair in each studio, fabulous bathrooms with lovely quality toiletries. "

"Pretty much perfection for an overnight stay. Easy check in with a wonderful executive room which provided more than enough space to do some admin work. The lady on reception opened up the gym area for me to work out and the staff could not be nicer. To get cleaned up, there was an amazing power shower. The large comfy bed afforded a great night's sleep and this was compounded by a fantastic breakfast, made to order, which arrived in double quick time but everything was cooked perfectly and got the day off to the best start. They also provide free EV charging for hotel guests."

"Arrived at 8:45 pm on a last minute booking. Restaurant last orders was at 8:30. Reception rushed through to the kitchen to squeeze me in. Very accommodating staff. "
