"Comfortable rooms. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not awful. The staff was friendly and polite. The food in their dinner restaurant was very good. I had the goat pie and it was delicious. Breakfast was very good and the wait staff was super helpful. Would absolutely stay again. "

"This would be our second visit to the station. This time we opted for a suite. The hotel itself is stunning , quiet , beautifully decorated, and relaxing. Our suite was spacious and well decorated. The highlight of the stay, apart from the amazing food, is the staff. The three team members that looked after us were kind, polite and attentive. "The waterside is great, it is very dated but the price reflects that. There’s nothing else around this part of Scotland that gives you this level of value for money. I wouldn’t go there expecting the world but it’s clean, has a nice restreraunt, a so with sauna, jacuzzi, pool and steam room and the staff are very attentive. I love the place and will be going back next weekend."

"Great location with great staff. Food very good but pricey. No elevators which is not ideal when you’re on the 4th floor with a big bag. Rooms were freezing cold when we got there although they did warm up eventually. Could only stand up on one side of the room due to the ceiling slope. Overall a good stay with a few surprises. "

"Was an incredible stay. We were the only guests as it was the off season and we felt so looked after. There was a lovely man working the mornings (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely beautiful) who did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! Great location for daytrips along the coast, good amenities and amazing food! We’ll definitely be staying again"

"A friendly, welcoming lady greeted me on arrival and explained everything simply and professionally. The room was warm, comfortable and most adequate for one night at the hotel. Very comfy bed. The teas and coffees were well stocked with my favourite Clipper coffee - tremendous attention to detail, imo. "I received a warm welcome from the host and he could not do enough to make me welcome at the cottage. The cottage, as per the listing, is secluded and was ideal for my short break. If it is quiet and downtime you require then I recommend this property. "
