Ideally need a car to visit local areas but only short journeys. Would have liked a local pub for evening out or a meal unfortunately the closest was about 1 mile but it’s closed down, this issue didn’t matter as we had a fabulous time and saw friends that we haven’t seen since before COVID so it was very special. "The house is situated on three different levels. There is a beautiful open kitchen with dining room and lounge downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need from serving a bowl of cereal. tohaving a cocktail. "

"We stayed in this lovely barn to have a very belated Christmas with friends who live nearby. The barn is very comfortable, warm and cozy.However the kitchen does not do the rest of the property justice. It is dated with a worn cooker and a tiny built-in fridge that is in poor condition. One tea bag and no sugar, not promised but after a long drive it was lucky we had our own. Biscuits and croissants were left though and were lovely.The grounds are run down and we saw no play equipment - however...
