"We loved staying at Il Roncal and Elisa was super helpful, friendly, accommodating and hospitable. The wine was wonderful, the wine tasting was amazing. We highly recommend staying at Il Roncal. "

"Lovely old house with beautifully renovated large rooms. Set on a hill at the back of the village overlooking the countryside beyond. Not much outdoor space, but a nice seating area at the front & rear of the house for outdoor dining, etc. Great location for exploring the Soča valley, with pleanty of local walks & river swimming opportunities. "If you want that old feel farm house feel this is the place to go. Bernardo, the host, is very accommodating. We had 10 nights there and would return for another holiday. Lovely grounds and a pool for hot weather. Parking is within the courtyard. "

"At first, it was strange that I was informed that my reservation was canceled, and that the room was different from the room described at the time of reservation. The owner only spoke Italian. However, when I arrived at the room, it was surprisingly comfortable with all the facilities. It was smaller than expected, and we had to use a double bed for 3 people, but overall we were satisfied. The wine they make is very good and worth the trip just for that alone."

"This was a great place to recover from a long international flight. It was clean, comfortable, and user friendly. The breakfast was outstanding. It is located in a small village where the owners also make wine for sale to locals and guests. ( and it is good). We are English speaking. If ever close we will stay again."

"We loved our stay in Trenta, the chalet is spacious and in a stunning location. It’s lovely and peaceful and really special to hear the Soca river so close. I’m not sure if anything has been changed in the bedrooms since previous reviews, but we found them comfy. The kitchen is very basic and overall (as mentioned by others) the chalet is overpriced for what you get, but it’s still a beautiful stay."

"Few things not to like, but all minor. Parking price is on the expensive side for sure, we stayed during low season so breakfast, spa and few other services were limited, but it suited us as we had peace. Location is amazing, 10min walk to Bled Castle (it's a must!), few min walk to any place along the shore of the lake, nice park in front... "
