The grocery store in the little town of Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne has everything you can wish for, even a nice Fish Department. "Location was great. Cluny is a quaint town. Really enjoyed cafe central down the street. Lunch specials were outstanding with real Art Deco Era wall paintings. Parking behind apartment was fine. Sometimes had a 5 minute walk when full at night but no problem. Nice Farmers market right behind apartment on Saturdays. Weather got hot (high 80s) but room stayed cool with fans."

Check in process was all handled remotely and as such, it was slightly confusing to gain access to the building, but we managed in the end. "Very spacious and clean property with plenty of space to stay with 2 other couples. There’s one toilet, but two bathrooms with showers, which wasn’t expected but worked fine for our group. The location is really great - excellent view of the city and river from the living space and very walkable to city center attractions like food, bars, etc. Parking was a breeze as well for driving to attractions outside of Macon.
