"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "Place was in a lovely location but the lack of parking could be an issue, also the Wi-Fi code in the info folder was unclear and we needed to look on back of the router to log on, the contact number in the folder was no longer available - because I had an e mail from the owners direct I had a number but it wasn’t helpful as they couldn’t help. I also think saying thee property was dog friendly was misleading as you were unable to have dogs up stairs and downstairs was just a hall way and the...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

A great find in a lovely setting

"A delightful part of Kent to stay over, and the White Horse was a nice find. Comfortable, clean and modern, with very traditional country pub undertones. Staff were happy and helpful, and the breakfast options excellent (although my poached eggs were cold for some reason). On arrival the car park is sizeable so there are no concerns there. A little road noise with the window open, but overall I can’t complain at all and would certainly stay again."

"When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a smile and a lovely welcome. We could not fault the gentleman who was hospitable and sorted out any problem that came our way.
