"A** stay, we only stayed for one night but we would have been happy staying for days! Easy to check into the pods and all information available in the pods. Parking was next to the pod and it was all gravel. The grounds are very well looked after. Hot tub was easy to heat by lighting a burner. It didn’t take long to heat to tub! We had a very nice comfortable stay and will definitely be returning! Thanks! "

"Good location for walking into town. Lock cafe next door was handy and served an excellent breakfast. Nicely decorated and beds comfortable. Ok for a couple of days ‘we felt’ Quite noisy though, trains started at about 6;00am. Whist the cafe was nice, it dud get noisy from about 7:30 - 7:45 with music and chatting. "It’s ok here, for a hotel in a town that has seen better days. A nice big room (8), clean, well maintained with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was more than big enough, with a huge walk in shower. "Quick and easy check-in. Room was at very top up 2 flights of steps. The room was quite large with nice new en-suite toilet, sink and eletric shower. The bed was supposed to be a queen but looked like a double but it was very comfortable. The rate was reasonable. Its a pity the advert didn't mention the cheap parking at the old courthouse nearby. There was loud music from the bar at night although it didn't matter to us as we had been to a gig at the nearby gliderdrome. It was very clean. "

"Stay fine. Rooms a bit of a warren of corridors but well signposted. Beds comfortable. Double glazing reasonably sound proof except for revving engines - it was Friday night! All clean. Nice variety of breakfast food. We had to ask for hot milk to add to strong coffee - we were served it willingly but it involved the waiter going elsewhere to get it."

"Great reception and hosts keen to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. As there was a function in the hotel that night we were offered the opportunity to move with our friends to the Katrina Suite, a modern 2 bedroom flat, a couple of minutes away. This was perfect for us and we were able to walk to the hotel for a lovely breakfast the next morning Parking was available and easy. "

"The property is very clean and well kept. You are given towels and you have full use of the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. I'd like to recommend this to the owners of the property: Put a towel in the kitchen. You have to call them so they can give you a code to the key, it'd be so much convenient to maybe add a whatsapp option or even email as not everybody has a UK phone number and not everybody can communicate in English. "
