"Firstly we have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. The property is old and consequently does not have that modern minimalistic feel to it. I think the beds could do with replacing as you can feel the springs through the mattress topper. The stairs are a challenge on par with climbing Snowden. So why did we come back? "All round the hotel was in the right location for our needs. The only thing was we were in a room in the roof space so it was restricted with head room, so if you got up in the night you had to remember to bend or you would hit your head , recommend when booking request you are on the lower floor as the bedrooms look more roomy and lager especially if you are staying for a few days. "

"We have just returned home from an excellent 5 night stay at Balincourt. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The accomodation was top class and the breakfast options very good. The location couldn't have been more convenient with bus stops adjacent and a pub opposite."
