"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard. The property was quite basic for my taste and in a more rural area than I would have liked especially as I was driving on narrow country roads at night to return to the property. "The hosts had done an amazing job to make us feel welcome as guests. We have rented a lot of vacation homes in the region over the years, but this by far exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean and although being located next to small road, it was screened very well to the pool and garden, and the views were amazing! The host had even left complimentary snacks upon our late arrival, and there were even bathrobes for to all the guests and miniature shampoos, conditioners, bathsoap...
