"The area of town seemed a little sketchy. The apartment building is definitely older. Our apartment was clean but had a really strong floral scent which was horrible for someone with scent sensitivities. The bed was saggy and tge pillows were really flat. Some of the dishes were chipped. Ok for one night but would not stay again."

"Wir waren zu zweit mit dem Fahrrad in Italien unterwegs und suchten eine Schlafmöglichkeit in Verona und haben diese hier gefunden. Wir konnten sogar die Räder in der Privatgarage des Eigentümers parken, obwohl dies nicht im Service inbegriffen war. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber und das Frühstück war super. "The receptionist was very nice and helpful regarding information about the bus schedule, how to enter the hotel after 8pm, and also set up our next morning’s cab pickup. The room was fine with a fairly small stand up shower. "

My new favorite Hotel!

"This hotel is amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was great with hotter and good pressure. The adjustable LED lights in there were a cool feature! Location was wonderful for easy walks to the local historical sites and dining. Also just a short ride from the train station. "

"I loved my stay here. It was only one night but I was impressed with how helpful the hotel staff is and how hard they try. I laughed out loud reading a review from someone saying they try too hard. The hotel room was spotless and the common areas are very charming I did get a room with no view as it’s in the old town and very close to other buildings but to me that’s part of the charm of staying in a building that is so old. I’ll definitely be back! "

"Wanted a base near the train station which is a little over 5mins walk. Read some reviews saying rooms were dated but ours was in good condition. Like the impressive reception and bar area. Good breakfast choices - scrambled egg, sausages and (wafer thin) bacon along what usual meats, cheeses and bread. Gym was adequate for a hotel with what seemed fairly new equipment. Staff we seen were friendly. "

"I had a lovely stay at the Mastino. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, a minute from Piazza Bra/ the Arena. Breakfast had a great selection. Overall, a good experience and a solid choice for a stay in Verona. "
