"Lovely cottage ,everything you could want ,beds so comfy and all so clean (thanks to Julie ) she was so nice and very pleasant, nice just to sit and relax and watch the wildlife,deer , red squirrels,hares and plenty of pheasants , only drawback is the need of updating the tv as was very old and not very good as your are looking forward to cosying up in front of fire and watching a good movie after been out exploring all day ,but lovely place to relax"

"Impressed. Ideal for a quiet stay. Small village no immediate facilities but approx 1 mile outside Gretna for shops.Adequately furnished. Good quality excellent value. Owner brilliant, nothing he won't do for you.Highly recommend staying here. If your looking for nightlife this might not be the place to stay."

"We all, three adults and a dog, enjoyed our holiday. The cottage was spacious and we'll furnished. The beds were especially comfortable. Lovely to have a porch to leave muddy boots and wet coats although the weather was pretty good for October. The downstairs shower wasn't very powerful but the one upstairs was really good. Lots of equipment in the kitchen but one or two additional items would be useful such as a salad bowl, potato peeler etc. Lots of interesting places to visit in the area. We...

"House was absolutely stunning. It is in a great location for everything in Moffat. We had an amazing weekend. Only issue was the heating didn't come on but when i contacted Angela she came out and fixed it straight away. Would definitely stay again."
