"The setting was beautiful. Just outside the national park. The check-in procedure was fine but we had no idea where to go. There are no signs for “The Reserve.” The apartment was pleasant but it needed a good deep cleaning. There was all kinds of stuff on the floor, long hairs in the shower floors and pube hairs on the wall of the shower. The lack of air conditioning was fine. We opened the windows and it was cool. "We stayed here for 6 days and I can honestly say the staff went out of their way to make everything a very pleasant experience . The restaurant food was excellent, the breakfast was good with many choices , the pub served well made drinks and nicely poured pints. Seeing the local deer herd was a bonus. The Muckross Abbey is within walking distance. The jaunting carts do pick ups at the hotel. Killarney center is s stone throw away. I can recommend!! "

"The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet rural setting. You will need to have a car in order to get to it or go anywhere of interest. The building is small but very charming and the staff is extremely helpful. The only negative detail is that the parking lot is not paved, so you will not be able to roll your wheeled luggage from/to the car. Food is delicious"
