The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. "Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. "Lovely spot; and as I stayed at the accommodation all day it was lovely to watch the animals and the changing skies over the sea. I did lots of drawing! The accommodation is very well equipped. The drive up the hill is a little hairy - glad we were in a robust vehicle! Barmouth is a small seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes."
