"This hotel (only has 15 rooms) was built in 1876 and has been beautifully restored. It is furnished wirh period pieces. It was easy to imagine gentlemen in top hats and ladies in hooped dresses. Great experience!"

"This is a GREAT BnB! Wonderful location for Mammoth Cave Park. Tina is a fantastic proprietor and provides a wealth of amenities. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are well appointed. Common spaces in the house are comfortable with snacks, coffee, drinks available at all hours. The breakfast is very good and not lacking anything. The property is beautiful and there is a cozy firepit area just a few steps up a path. The front patio is a nice place to sit and talk to Tina and Bill about stuff....

"We try to rent this cabin every few years. Its really has everything you really need. The location is stunning and the deck gives you the perfect view. The only reason i gave 3 stars on cleanliness is because it doesnt look like the property itself is being maintained very well anymore. We also had to clear almost a foot of ash out of the grill before we could even use it. "

"I enjoyed swimming off their dock. The water was clear, cool and clean. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock too. We saw deer walking by lots of birds singing. It’s a beautiful place to stay."
