Supposedly, our room at the Central Plaza had a plumbing issue that was not resolved. We refused the new rooms and asked to cancel our reservation but they would not refund us. We pushed the issue and suddenly our rooms were available again. Rooms more spacious, better location but really run down. Beds were dipping in the middle or sloping to the sides. "Casa Mamma Elvira location is walkable to the main city center of Lecce. Serena, the owner and her staff are very friendly, nice and suggest where to go for Turist information. The breakfast is great."
