"Very nice room, with everything working. The food was excellent - quality ingredients and beautifully presented on the plates. Speaking personally I would have liked a few more of those lovely vegetables to accompany the very tasty belly pork main course! Plenty of parking - very close to the accommodation. "My husband and I went here for our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were so friendly and made you feel at home. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was lovely with plenty of choice and freshly cooked. The breakfast was amazing which filled me for the day. I would certainly recommend this guest house and hopefully will visit again soon. Thank you for a lovely weekend."

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...
