"Good location with parking, slight issue with the parking as you are given an allocated spot but upon arrival there was a vehicle already parked in the spot, quick phone call and instructions given to park elsewhere which was fine. Entry door system was hit and miss, didn’t work upon arrival but then on return did the same thing but it worked. Stayed in a 2 bedroom but only one bathroom so if you were not from the same family it might cause a few issues. "

"Very easy to get to by car given its proximity to the city centre. Easy secure parking. Easy walk to all the attractions."

"Stayed here with a friend for 2 nights. Location is great, really close to the station 4/5 min walk max, and close to all the bars and restaurants. Stairs up to the apartment for those it may affect. Great to have parking. Comfy rooms and well equipped "

They went above and beyond to deal with my chemical sensitivities, switching out to fragrance free soap & cleaners for me, and opening the windows and completely airing the apartment before arrival. They sent a great e-mail that explained in detail how to get to the property & how to access it. Worked flawlessly. The location was fabulous, we easily walked everywhere. "We had a lovely 3 night stay at Oulton Hall hotel. It was our first trip away with our dog. The staff were brilliant and so helpful, and there’s lovely grounds to walk the dog in. We also appreciated that there was a lovely bed for him in our room and food bowl. I would definitely choose to stay here again. "

Great location for racecourse

"Lovely hotel in a great location for York racecourse and a short taxi ride into the city centre (or 30 min walk). Rooms are very well appointed although the bathroom could be upgraded with dual flush toilet etc. Bed was very comfortable and noise was at a minimum. Staff are helpful and friendly. We like that the pool was open till 11pm"

"We arrived earlier than our check in time of 3pm, and were given early check in.we had rang to enquire about early check in but as with any hotel its never guaranteed but we were sorted very fast with the friendliest staff. The hotel itself is spotless and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable relaxed stay."
