Everything was very clean and orderly when we arrived, the only problem I had was that the hair trap had been forgotten and the shower flooded out into the hall and into a neighboring bedroom in the few minutes it took for anyone to notice a problem. But Brian and Colleen were very helpful and had quick responses via text with offers of sending their cleaners out...

"This cottage was such a charming surprise! The space was clean and updated and well taken care of. Perfect for my overnight stay! There were chocolate chip cookies waiting for me and the nicest classical music playing as I entered the space. The outside area was picture esque and I may have snapped a few pics to brag to co-workers! Will def. Stay here again when in the area! "

"Our family enjoys getting together in the foothills of Ouachita Mountains at this wonderful property. The house can easily accomodate a large group in comfort. The pond in back of the house is full of fish for the kids and adults alike. There is plenty of room to go exploring or just sit outside around the fire pit and swap tales with family and friends. Coming here has become a family tradition as we celebrated our 7th year this year. We plan to keep coming back."

"The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. "This a classic stone home that has been well maintained and updated whilst honoring its heritage. It was conveniently located a minute from downtown and the perfect location as a home base to hop around Mena. The host was easy to get in contact with as well and had a small assortment of snacks in the kitchen (I love those little touches of care!). Being that this is an older home with what I believe to be was original wood flooring and older-single pane windows, it’s not the most sound-proof...
