"For me, the staff was very unwelcoming and on one particular occasion after returning from swimming at La Gard, I was stopped by the 4 receptionists at the desk and asked if I had a room key. It was very much so approached in way by the staff as if I didnt look like I belong there. "The rooms are quite nice. The location is nearly 2kms outside of Verona central. The walk is not very pleasant and you need to cross a freeway. However the hotel provides a one way shuttle into Verona which is really great. There is very limited taxis though so coming back at night after dinner or when it’s raining you are still going to have to walk. We still had a lovely stay regardless"
