"This is an excellent place to stay in Bol, on a quiet side street in the historic area, a short walk to the waterfront restaurants and shops. There are a few sterile modern “resort” hotels in Bol, but staying with Ivana and Ivan in part of their stone family home is far superior. Our rooms were up steps and included a full kitchen, private covered patio, and garden. Bol is a delightful mix of local activity (fishing, wine and olive oil making, historic sites, small grocery stores, friends meeting for coffee) and tourist services (restaurants, shops, tour boats). The active waterfront serves the small boats of local residents, classy yachts, and small tour boats. There are several excellent gravel beaches on the crystal clear Adriatic within walking distance. With a car, there are numerous picturesque villages worth spending a few days exploring on the mountainous island of Brac. This was our second visit to Croatia and Bol is our favorite. "

"Too many stairs to my room. I had to leave my luggage in my car. The remote for the air conditioner probably needed new batteries. I sent a text and they did not respond. The room was pretty warm that day. On the plus side, my room had a beautiful balcomy and a very nice view of the sea! "

"Rooms clean and comfortable. Get a balcony room if you can. Location is perfect close to the beach and the town. Short walk to both. Breakfast is included and good selection. Dinner is ok but would suggest eating out locally instead. Spa is nice and massage was good, although treatment not exactly as described on the menu. If WiFi is important to you. This hotel has it down to an art. It seamlessly keeps you connected throughout the property. Pool area clean and towels available (Sept) "

"We loved this apartment and were sorry to leave. It was so easy to get to - less than 10 mins from the catamaran and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bol. Communication from Jacquie and Martyn was great and check in with Goran was so easy. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.The pool and patio were blissful - we spent most mornings there before heading out to one of the local beaches for the afternoon. Bol is wonderful, full of great restaurants, fabulous beaches and lots of things to do. Jacquie recommended a street festival with live music and food stalls which we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The highlight of the holiday was a boat trip with a company called Afitat, recommended by Goran. We booked a boat for the day with some friends, swam in a hidden cave and some beautiful bays, saw dolphins and had lunch at an incredible restaurant, accessible only by boat, called Vala Hrvaska. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday and this apartment was perfect. We will definitely be back."

"The Villa is super well located one street north of the main pathway (to beaches and commerce), but the short distance makes it very quiet. Our room had a great view of the sea. Dorian (the young man who checked us in) was very nice and informative. The pool is great, clean and lots of lounge chairs available. The pool is also big enough that more than one family can swim at a time without feeling too crowded. Breakfast was great and lots of choice. All staff are very friendly. "
