"The property is stunning. However, more training is needed for the staff. Ordered food from one of the pool bars and after an hour, my food never arrived. The remote in my room didnt work, i requested service, it never came. I asked for menus to the restaurants to determine where to go for dinner and no one could get this information for me. "The hotel is clean and caters for all types of mobility. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them and they engage in conversation and very polite. The massage at the banyan spa was amazing and the on site dive centre, Scuba world, were first class. The equipment was excellent as was the crew who run it. "Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. When in Mauritius, I will always go back to this hotel. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one!!!!"

"Really tasty food & great service from the staff but it’s really a 3 star hotel in terms amenities & the rooms really could do with an update. Mattress & pillows were also hard so found it hard to sleep."

"An amazing villa, we were a family of 5 people, had a great time, the pool is perfect, location is just brautiful and close to several restaurants and many attractions. The staf was very kind and helpful."

"Was our first time in Mauritius, and won’t be our last. We will also more than likely stay here again. Wish the breakfast would switch it up a little. The exact same food every day is a little mundane when staying for more than a couple days. But overall, customer service was top notch and the hotel was very pleasant."

"Second visit to this lovely hotel and nearly as good as 9 years ago. Only complaint was allowing weekend day trips by local groups of men, who were loud and allowed to drink beer in the main swimming pool while families and kids were trying to swim, no one from the hotel challenged their behaviour and it felt intimidating. Apart from that it was wonderful "

Beautiful accommodation!

"This was a last minute booking as my flight was delayed overnight. The property was newly built and very modern and stylish. I arrived earlier than expected and thankfully my room was already ready so I was able to have an earlier check-in. I was met by a very friendly and lovely lady who offered me a wet towel and a glass of lychee juice. She showed me around, took me up to the rooftop and gave me all the information that I needed. The room was just as the photos showed and I was very happy with it. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding, oh my goodness, the linen was SO soft! The free breakfast is also fantastic. In addition to a selection of pastries, yogurts, cold meats, cheese and fresh fruits, there was the option of a cooked breakfast to order-eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage. The only problem I had was that both sinks had drainage issues and were blocked. I forgot to mention this to the reception but I’m sure that they would have sorted it out. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I wouldn’t hesistate to stay there again. "
