"We booked this hotel as a last minute booking due to a cancellation on our existing booking with another hotel and stayed for 3 nights. We did not have any expectations to start with, when we arrived we were met by a very friendly receptionist who changed our rooms to suit our requirements. The owners Roger and Judith were very friendly and could not do enough for you and were amazing hosts during our stay. "We stayed in February this year and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was spotless and we had a huge bathroom. We just wanted a weekend away and it was perfect, we had a few ideas about what we wanted to do and where to eat but the hosts were really helpful with their suggestions. Saw lots of birds in the garden whilst we were eating our breakfast :) Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Really nice people to deal with. Property was of a good size, more than enough room. There was a strange smell coming from the rear of the fridge, but I forgot to report it. Probably nothing major. Really quiet place to stay. Nice lakes to walk around. Good food in the restaurant."
