All furnished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend to friends and would definitely stay again. The history to this place is an added extra and the tours are a must"

"Room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is wonderfully positioned especially for Rick Stein’s restaurant. Room was not as clean as it could be and the bathroom had some mould around the shower which needs sorting. Parking is paid for if you don’t book direct with the hotel which seems highly unreasonable. Continental breakfast selection was great and the staff were excellent and very friendly. We only ate in the restaurant once but it was delicious. Lovely hotel and you cannot fault the staff who were extremely helpful."
