"Very cute, waterfront property. Small beach area, but if you walk around the corner there is a large beach with many restaurants and bars. Felt very safe leaving the hotel and walking down the beach for drinks. Ate at the restaurant on property, food was delicious and wait staff were professional. Recommend for a long weekend or quiet stay"

"As others have mentioned in their posts, what a disservice to yourself to only book overnight here! We arrived just before dusk and left the next morning as planned. Too bad for us! This hotel is sooooo incredible! The photos do it no justice! The views are spectacular! The decorations and home accessories are a feast for the eyes! I believe if we stayed a week I would not have seen everything! Wow! There is a small gift shop of goodies. Unfortunately we had to leave very early in the morning or several new and unique dresses would have been mine! Rosie (?) Was so sweet, thoughtful and kind! She is an exemplary employee! I would love to come back for an extended stay to really take in all this property has to offer! (Stayed 12/27/24)"

"This is my third time staying and I will choose it everytime. It is so beautiful and close to everything I need during my trips. The biggest issue I've had is the water pressure being weird, but it wasn't really an issue at all. There was running water, so we were happy. The staff is all so nice as well!"

"Our family will always cherish the time we spent together at Villa Coco Mar. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with 12 adults (us, kids, spouses) and 14 grandkids ages 1-20. Everything was over and above our expectation! The grounds and beach are stunning. The manager Juan is friendly and easy to work with. The chef Juana and her crew are amazing. We all loved the Dominican food so we asked for it repeatedly. Many of our group told me there was not one thing served that they didn't like. We had a pig roast one night and they set up a table for 26 near the beach. It was magical. The pizza was great for the night of the OSU game The massages were relaxing. The housekeepers were friendly and efficient. The security guards made sure we felt safe, and the kids were free to explore. The rooms are lovely. We had a problem the first night with getting some of the rooms to unlock properly which made that first night a little stressful for some, but the next day Juan helped to resolve the issues and the rest of the week was absolutely stress free. We did the horseback riding which everyone loved, and a catamaran trip which was equally fun. On New Years Eve, they set a beautiful table for us and we had a beach bonfire. We are hoping we can manage to return. Maybe for our 55th? Until then, our hearts are happy with our memories. ¡Muchas gracias a nuestros amigos dominicanos!"
