"Daniel was a wonderful host and chef. The personal attention was a treat, as were the meals. The core of the place is Medieval (maybe 12th-14th century) yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. We loved our stay!"

"Although this hotel is remote it is excellently situated for breaking up long journeys. The facilities are excellent. Swimming pool very nice. Rooms large & well equipped. Restaurant very good & reasonably priced. Overall a great place to stop"

"Lots of development work directly outside the hotel at the moment but it didn’t bother me. The hotel is perfect, central, excellent condition, lovely buffet breakfast and friendly helpful staff. I’d recommend for anyone in the area. "
