"The cottage is great - plenty of space for 2 people and a lovely terrace almost directly on the reservoir. We especially enjoyed the hammocks and the pool table! The furnishings are a bit dated but generally ok. If you don't like a Nespresso machine, you should bring something to make coffee. The bedrooms were very nice. The drive to the accommodation through the narrow, steep streets is a challenge, but this is probably true of all accommodation in this region. A car is absolutely necessary, as...

Mathew’s farm was the perfect location from which we could explore the surrounding villages, vineyards and mountains of Serra da Estrela. Mathew was the absolute perfect host.
