"This was a last minute trip, we wanted guest house that was near hotel, not far to walk into centre. A quiet location, street parking but seemed safe, just look out for permit parking signs(guest house did give us plenty of information) a good breakfast, so quite a good stay. There was just a couple of things that hadn't been done, mirror in bathroom still had marks on it and there was used and empty complementary toiletries still in the shower, it wasn't a problem but just wasn't nice to see. "This is an old building, so think quirky shaped rooms and features, not boring square boxes. That doesn't mean that it is dated inside though, it has been decorated to a high standard, and is spotlessly clean and tidy, and tastefully furnished. Our room was bigger than we expected, with loads of space even though the (very comfortable) bed was huge. There are all the facilities that you might expect, such as tea, coffee, biscuits, fridge, room safe etc, but what was lovely was that there wasn't...
