"The reviews were good on this property. The reality is that it is run down and dirty. The toilet in our room didn’t flush. They had to come 2x in a 2 night stay to fix it. The heat never completely warmed the room and there is no heat in the bathrooms. The tub had chips in it. The lobby has an odd smell. The staff was lovely upon checking in. Won’t stay again. Hotels in Bloomington leave a lot to be desired. "

"The property was a pleasant surprise. Charming and spacious. Hotel quality towels, sheets and linens with nice bath products. Small issues that would’ve put the property in “excellent” category: The toilet didn’t flush well, had to take the lid off once or twice to pull the chain up, the shower pressure was limp and the bathroom door kept closing and needed to be propped open. Nitpicky - but we did like it!"
