"Lovely location and ideal for the kids in the centre of Châteaux country. We stayed in a yurt which was really comfortable and spacious for three and a toddler but we did have house envy of the tree houses which are magnificent. Loads of things to occupy the kids especially the under 5’s. Campsite is secure with combination locks on the gates so we could allow our toddler to play without worrying. His very quiet, well-equipped, retro-chic apartment and patio garden, on the left bank of the Loire, two minutes from restaurants, grocery shopping, is the best for biking to nearby chateaux: Chambord, Chaumont, Cheverny and Blois, of course. You won’ be disappointed."

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."
